Valentines food
As a premise, February 14th is called Valentine's Day in Japan. This is an event where women give men sweets with chocolate. It was a presentation about chocolate, which is often eaten on Valentine's Day. I learned more about chocolate by listening to this presentation.
First of all, chocolate is high in fat and sugar and high in calories, which leads to obesity, so I thought that I had to be careful not to overeat. I was also surprised to learn that eating a large amount of food during pregnancy has a negative effect on the foetation.
On the other hand, I learned for the first time that chocolate has high nutritional value and is attracting attention as a health food. For example, polyphenols contained in chocolate can be expected to have various effects such as skin aging prevention, arteriosclerosis prevention, allergy improvement, mental stability, and relaxing effect. So it's not good to eat too much chocolate, but I felt that moderate intake is a good food to keep your body healthy. I don't really like chocolate, so I don't have many chances to eat it. But in the future you may like chocolate, so I wanted to remember the pros and cons of chocolate.
Through this presentation, I learned that chocolate contains good ingredients and has a positive effect on the body, but overeating is not good. Also, when I have a chance to eat a lot of chocolate sweets like Valentine's Day, I think I need to be careful not to overeat.
